Tips for successful carbohydrate counting

 Read your food labels and pay attention to sugar, salt and total carbohydrate.
Check your blood sugar level.
Skip a slice of bread instead of ice cream do not substitute ice cream for your meal.
Eat whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
You should have 3 meals a day.
Make physical activity a part of your routine Do at least 30 minutes a day.
Use non fat or low fat dairy products.
Substitute olive oil, or canola oil in cooking salads and baking.
