Healthy Salad

 This salad is good for health.

Ingredients

Broccoli florets                 1 cup

Cauliflower florets.          1cup

Feta cheese                        1/2cup

Dill                                    1 bunch

Olive oil                           3 tbsp

Lemon juice                     2tsp

Dijon mustard                   3tsp

Salt to taste

Pepper                              1/2 tsp

Method

Steam the broccoli and cauliflower for 2 minutes.

Take a bowl add Dijon mustard, lemon juice olive oil and chopped dill , mix well.

Pour this mixture into the vegetables, mix well.

Sprinkle the feta cheese pieces.

Very tasty salad.

Pazhaya Satham.

 When we were small we used have pazhaya satham every morning. They add water with left over rice. Next day add buttermilk, salt, green chili and mix nicely and gave to us. Very tasty and now we know it is very good for our health.

Nuts ladu



 Nuts ladu is famous nowadays days. I prepare this ladu most of the days.it is very good for health. I use variety of nuts like cashew nuts, Batam, walnuts, peanuts, makhana, sunflower seed s , sesame seeds Pumpkin seed and dates. 

Ingredients

Badam...........one cup

Walnuts...........one cup

Peanuts...........one up

Makhana.........one cup

Sunflower seeds...one cup

Sesame seeds....one cup

Pumpkin seeds....one cup

Dates.............one cup

Jaggery.........one and half cup

Cardamom powder.......half spoon



Method.

1. Dry roast the nuts for 6 minutes.

2.Add sesame seeds, sunflower seeds pumpkin seeds in the last.

3 powder alll together with dates. 

4 Add cardamom powder and make ladus.

Eat one ladu every day.

 Swallow a chopped garlic pearl.

Eat lots of green vegetables


Drink lots of water.

Go for a morning walk at least 1/2 hour


Use raw turmeric where ever possible. I use instead of powder use raw turmeric in vegetable while cooking.

Good health is wealth

Ghee is very good for the body. Take one tsp ghee per day with hot rice/ paratha/ chapathi or dhal. Ghee is good for joints health, it lubricates them.Early morning after getting up eat  any one fruit like banana, apple. Every two hours eat small amount of your choice. Eat  on  time and go to sleep at particular time. Eat dhal/ chaval(cooked rice) with vegetables .Eat vegetarian food is good as for as possible. Go for  a running/ walking at least three days in a week. Simple yoga for 30 minutes is good. Meditation for 10 minutes everyday. Never go on empty stomach for more than two hours. You shouldn't be watching TV while eating. Have very good sleep at night.

Kale
It is high in vitamins,iron calcium, fiber and omega 3 s.Make smoothy with banana, kale and some nuts.
